Q: What documents do I need to bring to buy a car from U.S. Auto Sales?
A: You’ll need a valid driver’s license, proof of residence (2 current bills with your name and address on them), proof of income (2 most recent pay stubs) and 3 valid references*. If you don’t have a driver’s license because of a disability, please contact us at 844-479-1508 so we can provide the best accommodation.
*Out of the 3 references, at least one should not reside with the customer. All phone numbers listed for the references must be active and working personal numbers and cannot be work numbers.
Q: Can you hold a car if I don’t have my full down payment amount yet?
A: Yes! Here at U.S. Auto Sales we are proud to offer two different solutions for qualified customers who need more time to get their down payment together. The first is our flexible down payment option, which allows you to pay a portion of your down payment and take the vehicle home same day, and pay off the remaining balance within 30 days. The second option is our layaway program, which gives you to option to make payments towards your down payment requirement for up to 30 days. During this time we will hold the vehicle and no one else can look at, test drive or purchase that vehicle, and you’ll have peace of mind knowing it will be available and waiting for you once your down payment requirement has been met!
Q: What is in-house financing and how is that different from a bank or other lenders?
A: As a dealer that provides in-house financing, more commonly known as a buy here-pay here dealership, we act as both the car dealer and the “lender”; this means we offer financing for the vehicle you purchase from us, and our related company will service the contract through its completion. This allows us to specialize in approvals for buyers who would typically get turned down at other dealerships, giving buyers an opportunity to finance a vehicle and have their credit reported to the bureaus.
Q: Will you run my credit? Can I still get pre-qualified with challenged credit?
A: Yes, we do run a credit check and will report your credit history to the credit bureaus, however your credit score is not factored into our pre-qualification process. We are able to approve many people with challenged credit because rather than just using your credit score, we use attributes from your credit history report and information you submit to us such as income, employment history and time of residency to determine pre-qualification. A: Pre-qualifying speeds up your approval process and allows us to tailor your financing plan to your needs. Q: How much of a down payment will I need?
A: Unlike many other buy-here-pay-here dealerships, we don’t require the same down payment amount for everyone. Instead, we offer customized down payment options based on your needs, financing approval and your chosen vehicle. As a general rule of thumb it is common for higher priced vehicles to require a higher down payment, but with our flexible down payment options and layaway, we’re willing to work with you to get you into the vehicle you want while staying within your budget.
Q: Does U.S. Auto Sales offer a warranty?
A: All of our vehicles come standard with a 30-day / 1,000-mile limited warranty (whichever comes first) at no additional charge. In addition to our limited warranty, we also offer vehicle service contracts (commonly referred to as extended warranties) that are available, which can extend the coverage of your vehicle.
Q: Can I trade-in my vehicle? What if I’m still paying on it?
A: Yes, we take trade-ins, even if you still owe on it! We want your trade today, regardless of condition. Whatever your vehicle is worth, you can use towards your down payment, or the amount you owe in addition to what your vehicle is worth will be added to your contract*. We’ll work with you to get you out of your old ride, and into a new one today.

Q: What if I don’t have a way to come to the dealership?
A: We know our customers won’t always have a way to get to us, so we come to you! We’ll send you a detailed walk-around video of the interior and exterior of the vehicle you’re interested in, and if you want to purchase, we’ll happily deliver the vehicle to your residence, workplace, or other pre-arranged location within a 30-mile radius of the store.
